The God Question...

How did we get here, by God or by Evolution?

Every time I hear, "The Evolution vs Creation debate is over!"
I cannot help but respond, "Really?  Based on what scientific evidence?"

I am aware of no proponent of Intelligent Design theory who disputes the scientifically demonstrable facts of the evolutionary processes at work within species (in both plant and animal kingdoms). Within that context it is reasonable to assert with earnest conviction, that "Evolution is a scientifically established fact and not just a theory!"

However, evolution at this level is WELL WITHIN THE CREATOR'S ORIGINAL DESIGN!

When we attempt to impose the evolutionary model onto origins, irrationality surfaces. Evolutionary theory is being pushed as the only reasonable and rational explanation for the origin of species, when in reality, it is neither reasonable nor rational to make such an assertion!   Ironically it is accepted more on BLIND FAITH and honest intellectual exchange gets shoved aside!  Note author and radio host Hank Hanegraff speaks clearly on the subject.

The material below is adapted from "Fatal Flaws" by Hank Hanegraaff.
"Dr. Louis Bounoure, former director of research at the French National Center for Scientific Research, calls evolution “a fairy tale for grown-ups.” I call it a cruel hoax! In fact, the arguments that support evolutionary theory are astonishingly weak.

First, the fossil record is an embarrassment to [origins] evolutionists. No verifiable transitions from one kind to another have as yet been found. Charles Darwin had an excuse; in his day fossil finds were relatively scarce. Today, however, we have an abundance of fossils. Still, we have yet to find even one legitimate transition from one kind to another.

Furthermore, in Darwin’s day such enormously complex structures as a human egg were thought to be quite simple-for all practical purposes, little more than a microscopic blob of gelatin. Today, we know that a fertilized human egg is among the most organized, complex structures in the universe. In an age of scientific enlightenment, it is incredible to think people are willing to maintain that something so vastly complex arose by chance. Like an egg or the human eye, the universe is a masterpiece of precision and design that could not have come into existence by chance.

Finally, while chance is a blow to the theory of evolution, the laws of science are a bullet to its head. The basic laws of science, including the laws of effects and their causes-energy conservation and entropy-undergird the creation model for origins and undermine the evolutionary hypothesis. While I would fight for a person’s right to have faith in science fiction, we must resist evolutionists who attempt to brainwash people into thinking that evolution is science."

“The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge. There is no speech or language where their voice is not heard. Their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world.”  Psalm 19:1-4  (NIV)

Darwin's Dilemma...

Intelligent Design? At least check the evidence out for yourself...

An Amazing New Website

If you are like most thinking people, you either have serious questions about God or you have already had your questioned answered, at least to your satisfaction.

In either case you will want to check out this website.  It has been really well thought out and is truly a great resource.  It's loaded with videos and articles on about any subject you can imagine to "explore God"
Jennifer Fulweiler was a committed, lifelong atheist who thought religion was for the intellectually inferior. But then life changed; science and reason were no longer sufficient.
As she began a quest for spiritual truth, Jennifer researched every world religion but Christianity, which she felt the least likely to be true.  But then her husband then recommended she at least consider Christianity, the one major religion whose founder claimed to be God.      Jennifer began a blog to chronicle her journey and the results led her to an unexpected place. Disturbing Developments

A very disturbing development has been quietly taking place over the last several years.

Some folks who have risen to positions of power within the Darwinist Movement are resorting to drastic measures to silence all academics who to dare deviate ever so slightly from the official "Party Line" of the Darwinist Movement.

Ben Stein has produced a sobering Documentary on the subject called,

"Expelled, No Intelligence Allowed" and it can now be viewed online.

You may find it difficult to believe some of the things these guys are willing to say on camera!!!

Whether you agree or disagree with me about this, I am always open to calm discussion and would truly like to hear from you. Just click the Note above.
Irrefutable, Observable Evidence...

When objective scientific research is undertaken with intellectual honesty, the sheer volume of irrefutable, observable evidence, combined with the staggering complexity of design, lead us to the rational conclusion that all life forms are so far beyond the possibility of random chance that the theory of natural selection becomes absurd.

Add the astounding bio-engineering found in every living organism and we clearly and objectively see that it is not only rational but actually more reasonable to conclude that an intelligence and power beyond our comprehension has been directly involved in the original design and production of all living things!

No matter how many well educated, well meaning individuals may loath this conclusion, it is nevertheless, the more reasonable and yes, fully rational position!

Frankly, to conclude otherwise, seems at best intellectually dishonest and at worst somewhat delusional and rooted more in controlled anxiety than scientific observation.

I'm just saying... Phil Landrum
